| The primary responsibility of the Director of Track & Field Internal Operations is the management and oversight of the internal day-to-day operations and keeping the Head Coach apprised of significant events for the University of Oregon men’s and women’s track and field programs. Specific responsibilities include team travel logistics, recruit travel logistics, practice scheduling (within NCAA guidelines), oversight of Time Management Plan, CARA reporting and liaison with Jaqua Center. This position is responsible for promoting the philosophy and objectives of the intercollegiate athletics program, including adherence to all department policies and procedures, as well as the rules and regulations of the University, Big Ten Conference, and the NCAA. |

| Reporting to the Associate Athletic Director for Business Operations, this position has managerial oversight of the Accounts Payable (AP) and Records Management functions within the Athletics Business Office, while also assisting with monitoring the Athletic Department's expense budget.
The incumbent exercises professional judgment/decision-making in interpreting institutional policy and procedure while implementing actions to meet the department’s strategic goals and mission. These decisions will assist the program in reaching the goals/objectives of the department while ensuring compliance with relevant authorities and regulatory bodies, including but not limited to federal, state, local, institutional, NCAA and conference. The decisions made by the incumbent commit the program to a specific course of action, carry fiduciary responsibility and accountability.
