Department Summary

Position Summary
The Associate Director of Promotions & Gameday Experience assists the Director of Promotions & Gameday Experience with all areas of marketing & promotions for the purposes of renewing season ticket sales, growing the Oregon fan base, and conducting game day and other promotional activities. This position will be responsible for the marketing and gameday entertainment for men’s basketball, women’s soccer and lacrosse – tasked to bring new and fresh elements to enhance fan experience. This position assists in the recruitment and oversight of undergraduate interns, as well as the hiring process for the Promotions & Gameday Experience Intern.
Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor's degree.
• Two years’ experience working in an athletic department or for a professional sports team in the areas of marketing, promotions, or gameday experience required.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and other related software.

• Ability to strategize, prioritize, and multi-task to meet goals and deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proofreading, editing, and content creation skills.
• High motivation with a capacity for hard work within the context of an intensely goal-oriented environment.
• Ability to manage a set budget as assigned by the Assistant Athletics Director of Marketing, Sales & Fan Experience.
• In addition to regular office hours, working athletic events is required.
• This position requires evening and weekend work based on the game and events schedule.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in working at an NCAA Division I - Power Five athletic department or three years’ experience in working for a professional sports team.
• Advanced in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and other related software.
