The Erb Memorial Union (EMU) is a department of the Division of Student Life. The EMU is a multifaceted auxiliary service that employs over 90 professional staff and 400 student staff, and serves over 15 thousand daily users during the academic year. The Custodian position is responsible for maintaining clean, safe and sanitary conditions in and around the Erb Memorial Union (EMU). Duties include sanitation of restrooms, floor and window care, cleaning of the building, dining areas and all surrounding grounds, emptying garbage, compost and recycling, assisting with general maintenance of facility, and providing excellent customer service to all EMU staff and visitors.
