| The Custodian position is responsible for maintaining clean, safe and sanitary conditions in and around the Erb Memorial Union (EMU). Duties include sanitation of restrooms, floor and window care, cleaning of the building, dining areas and all surrounding grounds, emptying garbage, compost and recycling, assisting with general maintenance of facility, and providing excellent customer service to all EMU staff and visitors. The custodian will demonstrate and promote effective and respectful communication with staff, management, building users and other campus departments. The person in this position will exhibit appropriate behavior in the workplace, creating a respectful work environment. This position reports to the Custodial Services Manager and is part of the EMU's night shift, generally working 8:00pm-4:30AM Sunday through Thursday. |

| This is a substitute Early Childhood Assistant position supporting children of University of Oregon students, ages 3 months to 5 years. The role partners with lead teachers to create a warm, engaging classroom environment and provides coverage when needed. Responsibilities include working with children in groups and one-on-one, leading activities, supporting play and routines, and helping maintain a safe, organized space indoors and outdoors, along with basic record-keeping.
The position also offers opportunities to support classroom aides and collaborate with families and staff from diverse backgrounds through clear, consistent communication.
This is a flexible, on-call role based on the Center’s needs, averaging approximately 0.25 FTE. Candidates should be available to accept at least half of the shifts offered. |
