The Child Social Communication Interventionist works as a direct service provider and serves as a liaison between families and the research team. The position provides educational materials and brief interventions to children with autism who have limited spoken language, conducts family and child assessments, and maintains fidelity to intervention models. The position is part of a federally funded grant aimed at improving nonverbal and spoken communication in preschoolers who have limited language and who are diagnosed with autism.
