The Custodian performs a wide variety of routine custodial and labor tasks in any of the following athletic facilities: Autzen Stadium complex, Jane Sanders Field, PK Park, and PAPE Field. Responsibilities include maintaining floors, cleaning offices, cleaning the exterior of buildings, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning overhead pipes and lights, and washing windows and doors. The schedule is flexible and changes based on the needs of operational activities and events. This position is responsible for promoting the philosophy and objectives of the intercollegiate athletics programs, including adherence to all department policies and procedures, as well as the rules and regulations of the university, Big Ten Conference and the NCAA. The person in this position will clean a variety of spaces with a variety of equipment. This position may require the ability to stand and walk for long periods of time and lift significant amounts of weight with and without assistance.
