Position Summary

The Women’s Basketball Coordinator of Player Engagement and Operations will be responsible for several crucial aspects of sustaining the success of the women’s basketball program. The Coordinator of Player Engagement and Operations is responsible for managing off-court player development and student-athlete experience, recruiting, monitoring and evaluating student-athletes in the NCAA Transfer Portal, recruiting, operations and film review.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 5 years Experience in Division I basketball as a player or coach.
• Knowledge and experience with recruiting and scouting software.

Professional Competencies

• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills and the ability to multi-task and respond to immediate needs while managing day-to-day activities.
• Ability to work effectively with faculty, staff and students from a variety of diverse backgrounds.
• Understanding of NCAA rules and regulations.
• Exceptional ability to work in a networked way, emphasizing collaboration in a complex environment.
• Ability to perform detail-oriented work accurately and to communicate effectively with a diverse population.
• Ability to build strong relationships with all constituents.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Synergy video systems, and JustPlay database technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Division I coaching and/or playing experience with a Power Five program.
• Knowledge and experience of NCAA Transfer portal process.
• Master’s degree.
